In early August I had the pleasure of photographing Nancy and Andy's amazing, relaxed wedding in Devon. Nancy and Andy were originally friends of my girlfriend (and long-suffering assistant) but are now great friends of mine, so we were lucky enough to be invited to the wedding as guests as well as being tasked with capturing the feeling of their day. Lots of the guests arrived in Devon on the Thursday so by the wedding day, we'd shared some fantastic evenings in the local pub and everyone really knew each other which added to the relaxed, fun feeling.
After the service, the couple and guests walked through the tiny village of Noss Mayo, down to the village hall for the reception. After some great food, great cakes (and lots of them!) and the free-form speeches - anyone who fancied saying a few words could just get up and speak - everyone made there way to the village pub in the evening, to continue the celebrations and then watch the fireworks which marked the end of the local sailing regatta.
